Can we just get back to writing GOOD ATLA fanfics that involve our favorite ships? Granted there are, but I want stories that retell Books 1, 2, and 3, along with the cancelled Book 4. I also miss the good old days where I can find Zutara AND Taang elements all into one story. Now, they’re even lesser stories of that. Honestly, I feel like that’s all we can do now. Just try to write something even better than Bryke could ever think to write.
As of right now, I’m going to write a Taang crime fighter AU story(with some Zutara elements thrown in), and I plan to make it epic. I’m writing it now as I speak.
Come on guys, we CAN make Avatar fun again. If you have an idea that connects to the main story, then plan and write it. If you want to make an AU about them, let it be modern, high school, superhero, etc., then plan and write it. If you want to make an Avatar crossover with another fandom, then plan and write it. Let it be Taang, Zutara, Sukka, heck, even other pairings(not gonna add Maiko, that pairing is what it is; toxic)! So what if some of the crap we got is canon? It’s basically a fictional world, we can make our own rules too, you know! All bets are off if you give us an idea and make them in-character. :D
